We asked for volunteers and the responses were plentiful! The Enrollment Management Association recently put out a call to our membership seeking volunteers for our Digital Assessment Working Group.

This committee, chaired by Tom Sheppard (The Lawrenceville School, NJ) and Don McMillan (McMillan, Howland, and Spence), will work with The Enrollment Management Association staff to explore and determine the path for making the SSAT available via computer/electronic device. Moving the exam to computer could mean decreasing the demand on our members related to test center logistics, more opportunities for students to access the assessment, and ease of use for student testers who are quickly utilizing technology as a learning and assessment medium. We are excited to get started with this group and keep our membership informed of their progress.
