SSAT

Developed by EMA to standardize the admissions process for grades 3-11, the SSAT measures the verbal, math, reading, and writing skills of students applying to independent schools.

Character Skills Snapshot

The first standardized character assessment tool that allows schools to see how students describe themselves in terms of their character skills, helping schools to understand the applicants’ intellectual, intrapersonal, and interpersonal skills.

Standard Application Online (SAO)

It’s a free, online service for EMA member schools that allows students to submit their information, essays, transcripts, and recommendations once to any school that accepts it, simplifying the application process for the families.

Student Prospect List

It is an active list of more than 40,000 prospective students who have shown interest in independent schools by creating an account on SSAT.org. It helps schools better focus their marketing and recruitment efforts.
