More than 12,000 SSAT registrants are getting much-needed help practicing for the test with our new SSAT Practice Online program. Early feedback indicates this new study resource is helping students feel more prepared on test day and in learning important study skills.

As of December 4, 2016, a total of 12,210 orders for SSAT Practice Online were placed, with the majority of students choosing the Upper Level program during test registration.

Additionally, 833 students who registered for the SSAT with a test fee waiver are enjoying full access to both Upper and Middle Level SSAT Practice Online entirely cost free.

Families and tutors describe students who use SSAT Practice Online as feeling more prepared for the types of questions they’d see on test day. According to Mindful Tutor founder Megan Singer, who supports approximately 100 SSAT test takers, “The new practice tests seem on par with the test they took in October…The kids just made comments like ‘I’m glad I studied.’"

One parent said: “I thought it was very thorough with explaining what my child got wrong. It created a platform to build up from, regarding questions/topics he needs to improve. Overall, he learned that he needs to practice more. I honestly thought this experience was very effective.”

In the coming months, SSAT Practice Online will be enhanced with new practice dashboard reports, including aggregate results to show progress over time and to more accurately indicate areas where students are strongest and weakest. To learn more, visit ssat.org/practice.
