With Jackson Marvel, Director of Financial Aid/Senior Associate Director of Admission, The Hotchkiss School & Jared Liu, Assistant Director of Admission & Financial Aid, Choate Rosemary Hall

Families may find applying for financial aid to be a mysterious process that lacks transparency. The Financial Aid Offices at Hotchkiss and Choate wanted to make the process more clear, and with the help of colleagues at their respective schools, created Financial Aid Estimators for their websites.

The Estimator is an online tool that gives families an estimate of their family payment based on their own unique financial information and family circumstances. Attendees will learn how each school’s estimator was built and the team members involved in the project. Some data will be shared regarding how many visitors have utilized the estimators as well as how actual awards compare with the estimator’s results.
