Prior to joining our team in 2021, Patrick worked in product, curriculum, and content development of print and digital/interactive products for various educational publishing companies—including WH Sadlier, Triumph Learning, and Kaplan. Patrick’s primary focus was on instruction and assessment programs for K–12 mathematics, but he also has experience working on Spanish programs. Patrick holds a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College.
As EMA’s Test Development Specialist, Patrick uses his expertise in the field of mathematics education to guide the development and assembly of SSAT quantitative items and tests for the Elementary, Middle, and Upper levels. He trains item writers, develops items, and works with committee members and psychometricians to assemble statistically balanced test forms.
