Prior to joining our team in 2019, Mark worked for six years at the Educational Testing Service (ETS) as an assessment specialist on programs such as the SAT I in Mathematics, CLEP, AP Calculus, and Praxis, among others. Before working at ETS, Mark worked for six years in educational publishing as a Mathematics Content Editor, and three years as a high school teacher of mathematics.Mark holds a master’s degree in teaching mathematics from Montclair State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Drew University.
Mark uses his expertise in the field of mathematics education to guide the development and assembly of SSAT quantitative items and tests for the Elementary, Middle, and Upper levels. He trains item writers, develops items, and works with committee members and psychometricians to assemble statistically balanced test forms.
