Matt Lai

Matt is the Upper School Director at The Bush School (WA). Prior to joining The Bush School, Matt spent 14 years at Woodside Priory School (CA) in a number of capacities, including Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, Dean of Students, Dean of Residential Life, and a teacher and coach. He also served for six years as a Trustee at The Girls' Middle School (CA), rolling off the board in 2019. Matt is a former attorney who practiced in the litigation department at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP in Manhattan. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School as well as a M.A. and B.A. from Stanford University.
