Kelly West began her career as a lower school teacher at The Browning School, where she currently serves as the director of K-12 admission. Over the past two decades, Kelly has been the assistant director of lower school admissions at The Hewitt School, as well as acting head of lower school and director of lower school admission at Browning.
Kelly is a member of the Independent Schools Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) Board of Trustees, where she oversaw member communications as the coordinator from 2017 to 2020. She has also served two terms as a Trustee at The West Side Montessori School in New York City.
Kelly received her Master of Arts from the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The George Washington University.
When she's not at work, Kelly relishes spending time with her family and friends, running in Central Park, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She is the proud mom to a daughter, a son, and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
