Jenna is the associate head of school for admission and enrollment at Riverdale Country School, where she has worked since September 2004. During her time at the school, Jenna has also run the upper school advisor program, taught French and history, served as the director of community service, and coached track and cross country. Prior to her years at Riverdale, Jenna spent three years as a teacher, coach, and dorm parent at Suffield Academy (CT).
Jenna has worked closely with Riverdale’s head of school on character skills research and collaboration with Dr. Angela Duckworth and Dave Levin, co-founder of KIPP. Riverdale’s signature Character Lab program promotes researched-based approaches to character development, and supports innovative work not just at Riverdale but also at a variety of schools, both public and private, in the New York area. Jenna is an active member of the EMA Admission Leadership Council and served on the working group that developed the Character Skills Snapshot. Jenna is a member of the board of the Independent School Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY).
She holds a BA in art history and French from Dartmouth College and an MA in private school leadership from the Klingenstein Program at Teachers College, Columbia University.
