What do parents have to do to fill out the SAO?

The SAO portal for families is designed to convey requirements and deadlines, and track the completeness of the application in a streamlined experience.

If you would like to see how the family navigates, we suggest that you create a sample student account.

• Go to Portal.ssat.org
• Create a sample parent and student account
• Search for your school by name or SSAT 4 digit school code
• Select the session year, click on Apply to Schools and Grade to add your school application to the family SAO dashboard and to see how requirements are displayed.  
• Then fill out the application and submit it with an application fee waiver to see how it comes to your school, thus having visibility to both sides of the application.
