What is the Character Skills Snapshot?

The Character Skills Snapshot is an online assessment tool that gives a more holistic view of students applying to grades 6-12. It is designed to allow schools to better measure students' essential character skills, improve independent school admissions practices, and support the current strengths and emerging skills of all students. 

The Snapshot measures seven key character skills (initiative, intellectual engagement, open-mindedness, resilience, self-control, social awareness, and teamwork). It is not intended as a standalone tool, but instead is a complement to the other assessment tools that you use today for admissions such as the interview, letters of recommendation, cognitive test scores and grades. The Snapshot should really fit into your school's process.
