SSAT at Home Update (11/19/2020)
Previously, we shared that we canceled SSAT at Home test administrations for November 7 and November 14. We have decided to extend the suspension through the end of November to take additional time to modify and test the changes we are making to improve the student experience.
SSAT at Home will resume on November 30 with smaller administrations, allowing us to ramp up testing. In addition to our currently scheduled weekend testing, we have added weekday options that include an increased number of testing time slots.
Families can schedule or change dates for their SSAT at Home test, or request a refund by simply:
- Logging into their account at portal.ssat.org
- Clicking "SSAT Testing" and going to "My Tests"
- Selecting their preferred choice (change, schedule, or cancel)
We have shared this information with the affected students and have offered to assist them with rescheduling.
EMA is also working with families to ensure they are better prepared for the test-day experience through improved onboarding and communication, including encouraging families to check that they have the appropriate technology before test day. If a student’s technology is insufficient for an internet-based test, we will work with them to find alternatives.
Additionally, we have contacted members to provide two paper-based test dates, Saturday, December 19, 2020, and Saturday, January 9, 2021, with select Sunday dates for those with religious obligations. Paper-based tests are limited to those who can meet the CDC and local health department guidelines for in-person gatherings.

On behalf of everyone at EMA, I sincerely thank you for your continued trust in The Enrollment Management Association and for the opportunity to be your admission and enrollment partner.
