Translating Innovative Initiatives for Critical Audiences - Presentation

With Peter Gow, Executive Director, Independent Curriculum Group

Schools need to incorporate new ideas into their practice, but many schools are held back from embracing innovation by fears around explaining "out-of-the-box" programs or policies to prospective families, alums, and college and next-school admission offices.

This workshop will focus on ways that schools can strengthen not only their programs but their identities by developing strategies and language based on mission and values that will make the novel and unfamiliar seem accessible, exciting, and logical in the context of who your school is—and what its students need.
