Creating a Meaningful Conversation - Presentation

Creating a Meaningful Conversation - Presentation

With Leo Marshall, Director of Admission and Financial Aid, The Webb Schools

It’s time to change the way we talk about our school to parents with an array of educational choices. Forget the “elevator” talk and find ways to engage families in a meaningful conversation about what the goals of education should be and where your school fits in that dialogue. A parent about to make a significant investment in their child’s education is now the product of a customer-oriented society. They want to know what’s important about your school; what will be its goals for their child; and how will you accomplish that. That requires schools to start talking about what is really important, not the typical “stuff’ we want them to hear. Be ready for a provocative, engaging conversation, with plenty of humor included.
