Putting out Fires: How Can Fire Department Leadership Inform Admissions Office Leadership? - Presentation

With Tony Hawgood, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, Lawrence Academy / EMS Captain, Fire Lieutenant, Groton Fire Department (MA)

The presenter is a call fire department captain as well as an Admissions Director at a day-boarding school . This leadership workshop deals with both personnel management and constituent relations within the school. What makes it different? This presentation looks at these issues from the perspective of fire department operations - it is amazing how much overlap there is! Personnel issues are universal, and constituent relations within our schools and communities are myriad and have parallels within the fire service. No hoses and ladders, but plenty of pictures!
