Expected to double by 2050, the Hispanic population is currently 17% of the total population in the U.S. Furthermore, new predictions by the U.S. Census Bureau project that over one-third of all Americans will be of Latino heritage by 2060. In Atlanta, Hispanic student enrollment in independent schools lags behind overall growth in the metro area’s Hispanic community, and the reasons why have not been well understood or well-documented—until now. The Westminster Schools, Georgia State University, and the Goizueta Foundation partnered to conduct a three-year evaluation to identify the barriers and develop strategies for schools and families to overcome them. The data-driven presentation will offer specific tactics to help you attract and support Hispanic families once they enroll.
