Early Lessons in Early Childhood Assessment - Presentation

With Christopher Bigenho, Director of Instructional Technology, Greenhill School (TX)

This workshop explores the The Enrollment Management Association study, led by Chris Bigenho, that was launched to help us better understand the early childhood (PK-2) assessment practices used by private and independent schools. Thus far, the literature review and school site visits has examined various assessment instruments and revealed several emerging themes. Learn about those themes, as well as the study’s next phase, while discussing topics such as the cognitive development of children and the current state of early childhood educational assessment in the U.S.
