Title: Guidelines for Admission Officers During a Crisis
Topic: A crisis impacts a school like nothing else does. Some of that impact is obvious: Parents, students, faculty and staff and often alumni are affected by what happened. For the admission office, a crisis means that their messaging must to be consistent with what the head of school is saying and should address the concerns of prospective parents and students directly and convincingly. While each situation is unique, there are a number of guidelines that can help the admission office work successfully with prospective families during a crisis.
