The goal of the new ADI program is to equip new admission directors, who have prior admission experience, with leadership knowledge and skills to address enrollment challenges by increasing their competencies in financial, marketing, and assessment strategies that align with the school's mission.
Framed within the broader context of the independent school landscape and competitive environment, the program will be focused in the four skill areas identified by SSATBâmarketing, leadership, finance, and assessment. It will give individual participants time to think about what they have learned and discussed with their faculty and other leader-experts, and to reflect on how it can be applied in strategic enrollment planning at their schools. Participants will gather information about their schoolâs enrollment context prior to the program and will build on these data during the sessions. An Enrollment Management Planning Guide will be provided for this purpose.
Each competency area will be addressed in three parts â instruction time, group discussion time, and individual reflection and planning time. An expert faculty of seasoned admission directors will lead the sessions and mentor participants throughout the program. The SSATB Annual Meeting will also provide for additional technical learning and for continued cohort connection and reflection.
