Title: Assessing Character

Topic: Character skills and development are increasingly becoming part of the conversation around student success. Heather will explore the role of character or "non-cognitive" skills in both academic and work-life success and will discuss the innovations in assessment that are facilitating their measurement. She will showcase how independent schools are addressing character in their admission processes and are focusing on character in their educational programs. Various assessment tools being used to deliver on the promise of character development in our schools will be discussed.
