Prior to joining the team, Lauren spent over five years at Educational Testing Service (ETS), where she contributed to and helped develop various assessments including teacher licensure certification tests and K-12 assessments. Before working at ETS, Lauren was an independent school educator for over 10 years. She holds a BA in English from The College of New Jersey, and an MA from the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College.
Lauren Allen brings an extensive background in test development, teaching, and literary analysis to her role as Test Development Specialist. She helps build the Elementary, Middle, and Upper level Verbal and Reading SSAT assessments.
